TEG has officially opened its new London office in the heart of King’s Cross, marking another milestone in the company’s growth as its team reaches 231 colleagues across the UK and internationally.
Since 2000, TEG has been developing technology to make road transport safer, smarter and more efficient. Today, more than 10,000 member businesses rely on our digital platform to book, manage and pay for freight movements, supporting our ambition to make TEG the safest place to do business in road transport.
Delivering on that ambition requires continued investment, not only in technology but also in the people behind it.
Over the past three years, our team has grown by 43%, bringing new skills and expertise into the business. As our platform evolves, we’ve expanded into areas including artificial intelligence, risk management, finance and compliance, creating new opportunities for collaboration, innovation and career development.
Our new King’s Cross office is the latest step in supporting that growth.
A new home in the heart of London
Last month, our CEO, Lyall Cresswell, officially opened the new office with a ribbon-cutting ceremony, bringing colleagues together to celebrate the milestone and look ahead to the next chapter of TEG’s journey.
Located in the Spitfire Building at 71 Collier Street, just a five-minute walk from King’s Cross station, the office places TEG in one of London’s best-connected neighbourhoods.
The new space provides a central hub for our growing team, with improved facilities for collaboration, customer meetings and events. It also strengthens our presence in London, bringing us closer to the businesses and industries we serve.
But our investment in growth extends well beyond our new office.
Investing in the next generation of talent
As TEG continues to expand, attracting and developing talent remains a key priority. Alongside recruitment across established and emerging specialist teams, we’ve invested in structured programmes that create opportunities for people at the start of their careers.
Launched in April 2025, our Graduate & Postgraduate Programme offers people from any academic background the opportunity to build a career in technology and logistics, with no previous industry experience required.
The 12-month programme begins at our Chippenham office, where graduates gain first-hand experience of the business through customer support and onboarding. This foundation helps them understand our customers, the challenges they face and the technology that supports them.
After spending at least six months in Operations, participants can progress into specialist roles across the business, including Quality Assurance, Risk Management, Sales, Marketing, Account Management, Product, Project Management and Cyber Security, with many opportunities based in London.
The programme also supports professional development through PRINCE2 Agile and Six Sigma Yellow and Green Belt certifications, with starting salaries of £34,860 for graduates and £37,860 for postgraduates.
So far, 59 colleagues have joined TEG through the programme, building on the success of our apprenticeship scheme, introduced in mid-2023, which has already seen 12 apprentices complete their training.
Together, these initiatives reflect our commitment to creating accessible career pathways and developing the skills that will help shape the future of our industry.
