TEG Launches Ambitious Graduate Program to Champion Young Talent in Wiltshire

2nd April 2025

TEG Logistics Technology is proud to launch a bold new initiative designed to open doors for early-career professionals in the Southwest and help shape the future of the logistics technology industry.

The newly introduced Graduate and Postgraduate Program is more than just a career springboard—it’s part of our long-term commitment to nurturing talent, empowering future leaders, and strengthening the UK’s position as a global hub for freight innovation.

Based at our Chippenham headquarters in Wiltshire, the program offers a rare opportunity for graduates to gain structured experience in a fast-moving tech company—without needing to relocate to a big city to build a meaningful, high-growth career. It’s a win for graduates, for the region, and for the future of digital logistics infrastructure.

Accelerating Careers in Logistics Technology

This 12-month rotational program has been carefully crafted to equip graduates and postgraduates with the skills, confidence, and cross-functional experience needed to succeed in the evolving world of freight operations and logistics innovation.

Participants will begin in our Operations division, gaining vital exposure to Customer Support, Onboarding, and Customer Success. From there, the program opens doors to explore functions like Quality Assurance, Sales, Marketing, Account Management, and Product Management—ensuring a well-rounded and immersive introduction to the workings of a modern logistics technology platform.

This is not just a career-building opportunity for individuals—it’s part of a larger strategy to strengthen the logistics ecosystem through local capability-building and innovation.

A Boost for Wiltshire’s Tech Landscape

By launching the program at our scenic Chippenham office, TEG is helping to place Wiltshire on the map as a hub for logistics technology talent. With a balance of on-site learning and collaboration, the program offers graduates the chance to grow their careers without needing to relocate to traditional urban tech centres—though progression to our London headquarters remains an option after completion.

This initiative brings new energy to the region, bridging the gap between academic achievement and real-world application in an industry that underpins global commerce.

Developing Future Leaders in Logistics Innovation

The Graduate Program is part of TEG’s long-term vision to cultivate a new generation of professionals who will lead, adapt, and innovate in a rapidly changing sector.

Participants benefit from a structured development pathway that includes:

Professional Certifications: Including PRINCE2 Agile, Lean Six Sigma (Yellow & Green Belt), and Data Analysis, building practical knowledge in project delivery, process improvement, and decision-making.
Career Progression: A clear route into permanent roles with competitive salaries and long-term potential across our logistics technology business.
Workplace Benefits: 25 days of annual leave, private medical insurance, life assurance, and critical illness cover—plus a well-stocked kitchen and a focus on wellbeing.
Office Culture: A vibrant, supportive team environment with opportunities to collaborate, grow, and contribute to one of the UK’s leading digital freight platforms.

A Culture of Growth and Inclusion

TEG Logistics Technology believes the strength of the logistics sector lies in the diversity of its people and the accessibility of its opportunities. The program is open to graduates from all backgrounds, and our inclusive hiring practices are designed to ensure everyone has a chance to succeed.

This approach is already paying off, as reflected by the journey of Xander Amiss, who joined right after graduating.

After leaving university in 2021, I joined TEG as a marketing automation specialist in 2022. It was a big decision to move to the city, but looking back, I’m so glad I did it. TEG gave me an amazing platform to develop in all aspects of life—professionally and personally.

“Through developing hard and soft skills, communicating, and learning the business, I now lead my own department, in a relatively short space of time.

Today’s workplace (post-COVID) puts more focus on the peripheral things a job can bring: stability, opportunity, flexibility, and wellbeing. TEG excels in all of these.”

Building the Future of Freight

As the freight and logistics landscape becomes increasingly digital, programs like this one help ensure that the talent pipeline keeps pace with technological change. TEG’s Graduate Program is a strategic investment in people, process, and innovation—designed to benefit not only the business, but the wider industry and regional economy.
